2 men are lucky to be alive after a serious collision in Abbotsford last night. Police were called to the intersection of Huntingdon and Lefeuvre around 10pm to reports of a loud bang. They found a semi and a pickup truck in opposite ends of a ditch. They had collided at the stop sign. The semi driver managed to keep his truck upright but hit a hydro pole and knocked out power to 1000 people. The driver of the pickup had to be extricated and was taken to hospital in stable condition. Police say they’re amazed everyone is going to be OK. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
