Mission mayor Ted Adlem has had a few weeks to reflect on his first Union of BC Municipalities convention experience.
Going in to the convention Adlem had said he had misgivings about whether the convention was worth the taxpayer money it cost to send delegates.
Adlem says he got some good things out of it.
“We had some very good ministerial meetings. I think there will be some very good stuff come out of the meetings that we had with ministers. Overall I enjoyed it but I found some of it to be very dry.”
Adlem says he got reasonable value for the experience but hasn’t decided whether he will attend again.
