Website_FC_CO_ZonesStarting at noon today the Coastal Fire Centre is putting in a Category 2 open fire ban.
Campfires that are half a metre by half a metre or smaller are still permitted, and cooking stoves are OK, but all other open fires in BC Parks, crown lands, and private properties are prohibited.
The ban will be in place until October 16th.
