The Reach Gallery and the MSA Museum Society in Abbotsford are merging to create one big arts and heritage organization.  It not only means they’ll be merging their collections of art and artifacts, but it will also mean a new governance and operating structure.  Mayor Henry Braun says the merger is good news, because combining resources will make everything more efficient and strengthen Abbotsford’s position as a cultural hub.  The Reach opened in 2008, while the MSA Muesum Society operate Trethewey House, which was built in 1920.
