Olympic Live Site at ARC

The Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC) was chosen as our local Fraser Valley Olympic LiveSite. The LiveSite program is meant to help residents share in the spirit of the 2010 games. The ARC will be transformed into an Olympic/Paraolympic theatre and gallery. The Live Sites program was created to help residents share in the Spirit of 2010 as well as to help B.C. communities, in all regions of the Province, find a way to develop a lasting legacy from the 2010 Winter Games.
Come out to the Abbotsford Recreation Centre from February 12-28, 2010 and enjoy the everything we have to offer including the Night Market, Prospera Gold Medal Hockey Game Telcast on a large screen in the main ice arena, the Mascot Reading area, Community booths & demos, Art display, the inflatable fun zone, Olympic themed swims, skates & programs, Abbotsford Recycling Olympic themed arts & crafts, Curling Club open house, And of course... the Russians are coming!!!!!!!
