Alcohol Induced Fall
Brad Paisley, took a nasty fall during a performance in South Carolina on Saturday night. Fans were in shock as he fell during the last song during an encore. Ironically, during his hit “Alcohol” and Paisley fell during the last note.
He was not seriously injured and provided updates and photos from the emergency room via Twitter messages on his official Web site. "Just very very bruised," he wrote. "Nothing broken, had a ct scan all is okay!"

A Dog At The Fair
The Court Yard Hounds, the Dixie Chicks offshoot group, & Martina McBride were added to Lilith Fair, which is returning this year after an 11-year hiatus. The Court Yard Hounds is Emily Robison and Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks, who will release their debut album in May.
They join Loretta Lynn, Emmylou Harris, Sugarland and Miranda Lambert who were already announced as participating in the tour.
No confirmed date yet, but it has been announced that Lilith Fair will make a stop in Vancouver.
Zac Brown Dips Toes Into DVD Market
Zac Brown Band will be releasing a DVD/2-CD package of material called Pass the Jar on May 4.
The Pass the Jar DVD, recorded at the band's show at Atlanta's Fox Theater last October, will feature eighteen performances and will include guests Kid Rock, Little Big Town, Shawn Mullins, Joey + Rory, Aslyn and Angie Aparo, who performed ZBB songs from the band's platinum album, The Foundation, as well as favorite covers and new unreleased material.
We Are The World Part 2
Some of Country's biggest stars stayed in Los Angeles an extra day following the Grammy's to lend a hand in recording a 25th anniversary cover of the 1985 USA for Africa hit, "We Are the World."
Reba McEntire, Keith Urban and the Zac Brown Band have joined the likes of Barbra Streisand, Céline Dion, and Lil Wayne to help record the song, which will help raise money for the relief effort in Haiti. The new single will premiere February 12 on NBC during the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. It will then be made available for download, with all proceeds going to aid the rebuilding of Haiti.
New Darlin for Johnny Reid
Johnny Reid and his wife welcomed thier daughter Ava Margaret Elizabeth Reid this morning at 10:33am.
At 7lbs 10oz Ava is Johnny's 4th child, but 1st girl .Mama and baby are both great. Expect Johhny to write a tear jerker daughter song by weeks end .

Kenny Chesney has reportedly plunked down 9.2 million dollars for an estate in Franklin, Tennessee called Bella Luce. Reports are that the 11 thousand square foot property has a Tuscan villa design including five bedrooms along with seven full and two half baths. The estate sits on 30 acres with a mile-long driveway. Also inside the home are two 25-foot high limestone fireplaces both in the same room, a massive kitchen with its own fireplace, a theater with stadium-style seating, a billiards room, exercise room and a lookout tower.There is also a six-car garage with helipad, an infinity-edged pool and spa, spiral staircase, and the bathrooms have luxury amenities such as a 10-head shower with steam, music and programmable water temperatures.

John Rich ,the rich half of Big & Rich is now a proud papa. John and his wife, Joan, welcomed their first born into the world Sunday morning, January 10. People magazine reports that the couple's son, Cash Rich, was born in a Nashville area hospital.
A Work In Progress
New music is on the way from multi-platinum superstar Alan Jackson .AJ is set to release his 18th album, Freight Train, on March 30. The new collection was produced by longtime collaborator Keith Stegall and will feature 12 tracks including A.J.'s brand new single released this week, "It's Just That Way." Freight Train follows up Alan's 2008 album Good Time, which produced three #1 singles.
Capital Nasville Is Going To Miss This
Trace Adkins is celebrating his 48th birthday today with the news that he has left his longtime label Capitol Records Nashville to work with his buddy Toby Keith. Toby and Mark Wright, Principle and President of the brand new Show Dog-Universal Music label have announced that Trace is their first signing."While touring together this past summer, Toby and I had some time to get to know each other better and we discovered that as artists, we share a common vision," says Trace. "I've had 15 great years at Capitol Records/Nashville and I respect and appreciate everyone I've worked with there. But, the excitement surrounding this merger is very invigorating and I'm really excited about the future and the opportunities and possibilities that are ahead at Show Dog-Universal Music."
Not Ready To make Nice ?
Two thirds of the dixie chicks are reportedly going to release new music sometime this year. Sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison will release an album through the Chick's home label, Columbia Records. A publicist for the Dixie Chicks confirmed the news but did not provide any details on the album's release date or title. The Dixie Chicks released their last album, Taking the Long Way, in 2006
Carrie's New Last Name
It's official Carrie Underwood is engaged to her hockey-star boyfriend, Mike Fisher. The Ottawa Senators center popped the question on Sunday.Fisher told the Ottawa Citizen on Monday. "We're both obviously excited and very happy and so, exciting times for sure." Carrie, 26, and Fisher, 29, began dating in October 2008. The couple has been involved in a long distance relationship ever since .No wedding date has been set, and it may have to wait, as Fisher's hockey season lasts through next April and Underwood's tour will be in full swing until the end of May, at the earliest.
