A Dog At The Fair
The Court Yard Hounds, the Dixie Chicks offshoot group, & Martina McBride were added to Lilith Fair, which is returning this year after an 11-year hiatus. The Court Yard Hounds is Emily Robison and Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks, who will release their debut album in May.
Vancouver gets Lilith on Canada Day. It'll be at Ambleside Park in West Van with Sugarland, Sarah Mclachlan, Sheryl Crow, and Ali Milner, but will not feature Martina, Miranda or The Courtyard Hounds, unfortunately.
ACM's Coming up ASAP
Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn are just a few of the acts that will take the stage to perform at the upcoming 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The show will take place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 18. Organizers announced today that Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean and Trace Adkins will also be on the bill.
Ain't Dry Yet
Kenny Chesney is one of the thousands of people in Nashville sifting through waterlogged memories after floodwaters consumed his home this week.His publicist, Holly Gleason, says it's likely his house will be condemned after water rose past the first floor.Chesney's gym is ruined. He also lost all of his sports memorabilia, including items from when he was in high school as well as professional sports items and pictures with friends who are athletes.Kenny was in another state working on a project when the flooding happened over the weekend. Cleanup is under way and people are working to assess the damage.
Alcohol Induced Fall
Brad Paisley, took a nasty fall during a performance in South Carolina on Saturday night. Fans were in shock as he fell during the last song during an encore. Ironically, during his hit “Alcohol” and Paisley fell during the last note.
He was not seriously injured and provided updates and photos from the emergency room via Twitter messages on his official Web site. "Just very very bruised," he wrote. "Nothing broken, had a ct scan all is okay!"

Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith are the top country music money-making acts, according to a list put together by Forbes.Chesney earned $50 million in the last year, with Keith earning $48 million. The number three spot is a tie between Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts, both of whom made $45 million each. No surprises in the rest of the top ten . The rest includesTim McGraw, Keith Urban, George Straight, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, and Carrie Underwood.

Could Reba be heading back to Broadway? Producers of the musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown want her to return very badly.The New York Post reports that Reba attended an elaborate staged reading of the musical while she was in New York City on May 18. Producers of The Unsinkable Molly Brown are hoping that Reba will play the title role on Broadway next year.The Unsinkable Molly Brown tells the story of Molly Tobin, who was just 15-years-old when she married a miner named "Leadville" Johnny Brown. Molly tried unsuccessfully to break into high society circles in Denver, but had better luck in Europe. She became a famous historical figure when she survived the sinking of the Titanic while helping to save other survivors of the disaster.If Reba agrees to do it, Molly Brown would be her second big Broadway role after starring in the smash hit Annie Get Your Gun in 2001.

He Loves Bolonga and Lee Ann Womack
Alan Jackson and Lee Ann Womack have recorded a duet together for Jackson's upcoming album, Freight Train. According to AJ, the duet is something he has been trying to set up for quite some time. "I've been trying for years to get her to record with me," he told The Boot. "I've just loved her since that first album she had, and when she got so hot with the 'I Hope You Dance' song . . ." The two have recorded Vern Gosdin's 1977 hit song, "Till the End."

Carrie Underwood took home the prize for entertainer of the year at Sunday night's Academy of Country Music Awards.She beat out Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band. Lady Antebellum was the night's big winners as well, taking five trophies, including best vocal group, record of the year and song of the year. Newly out-of-the-closet Chely Wright says she has "cried a million times" about hurting fellow country singer and one-time boyfriend Brad Paisley.In excerpts from her new book printed in People magazine, the country star -- who came out as a lesbian -- says an unknowing Paisley was a victim of her sexuality secret.
