Kate Forman hails from the home of the world's most famous Bard, William Shakespeare. She grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon and completed her Media Studies Diploma there. She graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BA Honours degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1998.
After falling in love with the mountains and ocean of British Columbia, she picked up her husband on the internet (back when that was cool) and immigrated to Canada where she's lived for the past 10 years. After interning at the BBC, she's worked in major market radio at most of the Vancouver stations including CKNW and News1130 where she's done just about everything including editing, writing and reporting. She's been the mid day reporter and anchor on Country 107.1 for the past year. Most of Kate's time is taken up driving her kids around to various activities; she also loves reading, yoga, skiing, traveling and drinking BC wine.
