2 vehicle crash sends one to hospital

Part of the freeway was closed for almost 3 hours earlier this morning after a serious 2 vehicle crash.
It happened just after 1am on Hwy 1 eastbound just west of Mt Lehman Rd. One vehicle had rear ended another. The person driving the car that was hit from behind was trapped and had to be rescued before being taken to hospital. The person that hit them from behind appeared to make it out OK after their vehicle caught fire. Fraser Valley Traffic Services are investigating the crash.
