Free Emergency Preparedness Conference in Abbotsford

The Best Western on Marshall Rd in Abbotsford is hosting a free emergency preparedness conference tonight.
In the wake of the recent earthquake felt by many people in town, this presentation will touch on all the important things you need to know about how to be prepared in the event of a major disaster. MLA Darryl Plecas will be speaking, along with experts from the insurance, disaster planning and travel industries. It’s happening from 6:30-9:30, and will be held in the hotel conference centre.
