It’s been a busy morning for Central Valley Search and Rescue.  They’ve rescued six people stranded 4 by 4ing on Sumas Mountain who got stuck there overnight.  James Lowe with the rescuers tells us what happened.

“It was two that went up at first, and then they had called for help, so then four buddies of the original two went up to see if they could get their friends unstuck…and then they got stuck themselves.”

Search and Rescue were able to contact them around 3am, two hours after the original call came in.  Lowe says the six people are all doing fine as they were able to stay warm in their vehicles until help arrived.
