A Chilliwack RCMP officer is being forced to resign following a sexual misconduct hearing.
Daniel Marshall was facing 6 allegations of misconduct including him having sexual encounters with two people while he was on the job, and failure on his part to properly investigate a sexual assault report. Marshall denied all of the allegations, but a board found them all to be substantiated. Marshall was given 14 days to resign, and RCMP spokesman Staff Sgt. Rob Vermeulen said Marshall is no longer a member of the RCMP.
