It was a record setting year for real estate in the Western Fraser Valley.  Home sales were up in 2015 across the board, including Chilliwack, but for the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, it was their 2nd best year on record, with only 2005 seeing more sales.  A record $12.1 billion changed hands in 2015 and sales were up 33%.  Board President Jorda Maisey says the Fraser Valley has “always appealed to consumers looking for competitive pricing and a diverse range of housing options”.  She also says the BC economy has gotten stronger which has led to more consumer confidence.

Across the entire valley though, inventory remains low and property assessments are up, so it’s a great time to think about selling considering their could be some bidding wars.
