Abby PD is continuing to investigate a fight that happened on Sunday evening at Finnegan’s Pub and Grill across from the Abbotsford Centre. Police were called shortly after 7:30 pm and notified of 2 groups of men fighting. Initial reports indicated that close to 30 people were involved and that the fight was possibly due to the outcome of the NBA finals that evening. Const. Ian Macdonald said that the brawl doesn’t appear to be linked to the game. Police are still getting evidence, including video surveillance footage, to determine whether any charges will be laid.
