If you’re looking to get outdoors this week after being in the office all week, working from home or just overall staying inside with the kids on the rainy days, you’re in luck! There are a few options this weekend that the Country 107.1 Wellness Team, presented by Greater Vancouver Zoo, Davis Quality Meats and Stattonrock Design & Build has found that you can participate in a safe manner.

Cultus Lake Waterpark has now opened, as well, with all slides in full operation. Due to COVID-19, it won’t be your usual experience at the slides, as there is limited capacity and reduced hours. Space is limited and there are two sessions each day for you to choose from. Arrive by 9AM or 2:30PM to attend a four hour sliding session. These sessions will happen daily, rain or shine. Between these two sessions, the park will be closed for cleaning and sanitation. This is to make it a safe outdoor space for all involved, including safe physical distancing and enhanced cleaning measures throughout the park. Before you go, you’ll want to check out Cultus.com.  There, you’ll find all of the modified rules, rates and hours.
Cultus Lake Adventure Park is also open; also with modified operations.
Along with reduced park capacity, there will be safe physical distancing and enhanced cleaning measures throughout the park. There is also 2 sessions per day, each a 4 hour maximum visit. You’ll want to arrive by 11AM or 4:30 PM for a session.
Make sure you visit cultus.com before you visit for full details – including all of the new rules, cleaning protocol and more.
If you’re not comfortable going to such public places, that is okay! There are so many local parks and trails to go to. Maybe take that bike out for a spin again? We want you to feel safe and stay well this summer. That’s the most important thing! No matter what you decide to do, let’s get out! Let’s get active! Have a wonderful weekend!
