The Country 107.1 Wellness Team, presented by Greater Vancouver ZooDavis Quality Meats and Stattonrock Design and Build is continuing to plan a safe weekend, with some activities where we can stay distanced, yet still have some fun!

First off, Curtis made a comment that we didn’t talk about goats last week when he was off taking some of his vacation days. So, I present to you these two options:

Eagle Acres Dairy – Safarmi – for just $10 per vehicle (tap credit/debit), you can visit the farm in Langley for a drive-thru Safarmi tour! You can visit all of the animals and take in the great views, smells and sounds as you drive slowly around the farm and through the barn. They have over 200 animals from 9 species to visit including cows, calves, pony, goats, sheep, bunnies, kittens, chickens and R2D2 the milking robot. (note: pumpkin patch open in October! Check out the posted open hours on their website – as this is a drive-thru event, attendees are not permitted to get out of their cars. No washrooms available.

Maan Farms – Barnyard Adventure – This has been ongoing throughout the summer. It’s family fun all summer long – from the zipline to the petting zoo, which does include GOATS! Children won’t get tired of all of the options the farm has to offer – 7 activities in all! It’s open daily 9am to 6pm and walk ins are available if space allows, but you’ll likely want to book your tickets online.

Abbotsford Sunflower Festival is also at Maan Farms and continues until September 13th! Book your timeslot, put on your Sunday bests, grab your cameras and snap a picture perfect moment! After you go through the sea of sunflowers, grab a wine tasting flight to sip on and enjoy.
