Harrison Festival Fall Season – Le Vent du Nord

The Fall season will close with Le Vent du Nord, a co-production with the Mission Folk Festival that will take place on Saturday November 30. Le Vent du Nord are currently the best known global ambassadors of high energy and dynamic Quebecois traditional music. They perform with consummate musicianship and showmanship, and their mixture of fiddle, accordion, hurdy gurdy, piano and guitar, along with the driving rhythm of podoryhtmie (foot tapping) create a unique sound. Their songs, both contemporary and traditional, are beautifully sung and feature their perfectly blended vocal harmonies. They are the whole package!
