For over 40 years, Martin Simpson has been at the forefront of the UK folk scene, and has gained the reputation as one of the world’s great acoustic fingerstyle guitarists. With influences ranging from traditional English song to Delta blues, he plays like the guitar is an extension of his body, with a style that is stunningly fluid and expressive. He is also a perceptive songwriter and sensitive song interpreter who keeps audiences captivated with his song delivery. Over the years he has performed with David Lindley, Steve Miller, June Tabor, and many other luminaries. He will be performing on Friday, October 18.
